Prayer and meditation are practices that improve our conscious contact with God ~ the challenge, of course, is in establishing them as part of our daily lives. Join us as we begin to experience a spiritual connection through yoga, or “unification of the self with the Divine.” All are encouraged to explore the basics, as we introduce yoga postures and principles for healthy body and soul. Interested beginners are especially welcome ~ we provide mats and blocks.

Following yoga, we continue our practice by moving into seated, guided meditation. The body moves into alignment, as we prepare to enter the silence and open our hearts. This practice deepens our capacity for stillness and presence in the world and helps us move toward a place of equanimity and usefulness to others. All are welcome.
