All of the groups meeting hosted at HopeGateWay are founded in a spiritual solution to addiction. 

The Four Facts Group / CA | Sundays | 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

An open, Big Book speaker-led meeting. No experience with cocaine or any other substance required – all are welcome.

Late Night Faith Group / AA | Fridays | 9–10 pm

This open, speaker-led meeting focuses on the 12 steps and 12 traditions that are the spiritual foundations for Alcoholics Anonymous – and recovery. All are welcome.

Women’s Food Conduct (women) | Tuesdays, 5:45-6:45 pm

This group focuses on issues related to our various relationship with food, with the 12 steps as a solution.

Step Sisters (women) | Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm

This Big Book-based meeting welcomes all women to explore the spiritual solution to addiction. You’ll meet newcomers, women with long-term sobriety and people still trying to figure it out. Any woman who is interested in exploring real recovery is invited to listen as we share our own experiences with addiction, the steps and a spiritual solution.

Chapter 2/AA | Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm

There is a solution to addiction ~ and other problems ~ and it’s laid out in “The Big Book” of Alcoholics Anonymous (1939). At this meeting you’ll meet newcomers, folks with long-term sobriety and people trying to figure it all out ~ anyone with an interest in real recovery is invited to listen to and share their own experiences with addiction, the steps and recovery. Fellowship follows meeting.

Ladies Night/CA (women) | Thursdays, 7:30-8:30 pm

Cocaine Anonymous uses the AA Twelve Step recovery method, which involves service to others as a path towards recovery from addiction. CA believes that one addict talking to another can provide a level of mutual understanding and fellowship that is hard to obtain through other methods. There emerges a bond among us that transcends all other social boundaries. This meeting is open to all who identify as women ~ you do not have to have experience with cocaine.

SLAA Augustine Fellowship (men) | Saturdays, 8:30-9:30 am

SLAA is a 12-step-oriented sex and love addiction recovery fellowship that welcomes men into a safe space to share their experiences and solutions for living addiction-free, healthy lives in recovery.

Out of the Dark/CA | Saturdays, 6-7 pm
HopeGateWay | 185 High Street
Out of the Dark is one of the only candlelight meetings in Portland and the atmosphere is one of comfort and safety. The meeting format is speaker/discussion and the group’s mission is to enable people to grow spiritually and communally through open, honest sharing of their experiences with the 12 steps of recovery. All are welcome ~ you do not have to have experience with cocaine!
